“ We constantly drive past this restaurant due to it being so close to our home. Unfortunately, we've been veered away due to reviews. One day we decided to put that aside and make our own opinion. Walking in we immediately noticed how beautifully decorated it was. They seemed to have gotten custom tables and chairs. Their was artwork spread across the room. They definitely executed the tequila in jalisco aura beautifully. Now let's talk about the main event ... the food. For drinks we ordered two agua frescas: horchata and melón. For food we started off with the house guacamole. Our entrees were a order of four tacos (asada, al pastor, lengua) and the bandera enchiladas. Both of the aguas frescas were delicious! They aren't made with powder, they are the real deal! The guacamole was delicious too. I could tell it was made to order and it actually had a kick to it! It was flavorful! The bandera enchiladas were ordered by my boyfriend. He noted he enjoyed them and from the bite I was offered they were definitely tasty. Each enchilada was filled with something different! The tacos is where there is room for improvement. I ordered two of asada, one of lengua, and one of pastor. My favorite out of the three was the al pastor. The flavor and texture to the meats weren't all there for the rest of them. This is definitely something I would skip ordering next time. Overall, this place definitely deserves more stars. We will certainly be back and hopefully in time to try some happy hour cocktails. ”
“ This place has so many negative reviews and I have no idea why. Try it for yourself! We've been here a dozen or so times since it opened and have yet to have a bad experience. The food is always fantastic and they have the best pre mixed house margaritas around. Get a pitcher. Yeah the food is a little pricey but so is everything these days. Had the fajitas palapa for the first time. Thin and crispy deliciousness. ”
“ I have tried Los Compadres a couple of times one, one for takeout and most recently for dine-in. Both times the food has been pretty good. I ordered the enchiladas most recently and added grilled chicken. My boyfriend ordered the burrito, which he liked. We both ordered margaritas, but I got the top shelf margarita while my boyfriend got the house margs and they gave him a headache the next day. Our waitress was nice, and was attentive to our table. I would say prices are little higher than usual at this restaurant, compared to other Mexican restaurants. Overall, both experiences were good and I'm sure we'll be back to grab some food from them again. ”
